For the past 26 years, Kony is behind the abduction of 30,000 children in Uganda. The children are turned into guerilla soldiers aimed to protect Kony and to help him gain power. The young girls are turned into sex slaves. Today, Kony is facing charges for murder, abduction, rape and other human rights charges.
Invisible Children is an organization aimed at advocating the arrest of Joseph Kony. Founder John Russell has been working to raise awareness about Kony and his crimes. John Russel made a video of KONY 2012 in order to make Joseph Kony famous and make him a household name.
